ME/OS

Terms of Service

MeOS (meos-app.lovable.app) · Effective date: August 29, 2026

These Terms are an agreement between you and Josh Parish ("MeOS," "we"). By creating an account or using MeOS you accept them. If you don't accept them, don't use MeOS.

1. The service, honestly described

MeOS is a personal life dashboard: you enter goals, habits, contacts, and metrics; MeOS turns them into scores, levels, and plans. It is a private beta: invite-only, provided free of charge, under active development. Features may change, break, or be removed; data loss, downtime, and bugs are possible. Don't make MeOS the only place anything important lives.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be 18+, use a real invite code, and keep your credentials secure — you're responsible for activity under your account. One account per person. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the service, or harm other users, and (because this is a beta) we may end the beta or any account with reasonable notice.

3. Your content

Everything you enter — dreams, habits, people, notes, images — is yours. You grant us only the limited license needed to store, process, and display it back to you (that's what running the app is). We claim no other rights to it. You're responsible for what you enter, including information about other people in your CRM, and you agree to have the right to record it.

4. Acceptable use

Don't: break the law with the service; attempt to access other users' data; probe, overload, or interfere with the infrastructure; reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the service; share invite codes publicly without our OK; or upload malicious content. This is a small beta run by one person — be the kind of user you'd want.

5. Not advice

MeOS displays scores and metrics about your habits, finances, health goals, and relationships. It is a motivational tool, not medical, financial, legal, or psychological advice. Life Scores and pillar ratings are game mechanics, not clinical or professional assessments. Decisions about your health or money belong with you and qualified professionals.

6. Paid features (future)

The core loop is free during beta and we intend it to stay free. Optional integrations may later require a paid subscription; pricing and terms will be presented clearly before you're ever charged. No beta feature will silently convert to paid.

7. Ownership of MeOS

The MeOS software, design, name, and branding are ours (or our licensors'). These Terms don't transfer any of that to you — only your right to use the service while these Terms are in effect.

8. Disclaimers and limits on liability

MeOS is provided "as is" and "as available," with no warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent Florida law allows: we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or goodwill; and our total liability for any claim relating to MeOS is capped at the greater of $50 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (during the free beta: $50). Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limits, so parts of this may not apply to you.

9. Termination

You can stop using MeOS and delete your account at any time (email joshuagparish@gmail.com). Sections that by their nature survive (your content ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, governing law) survive termination.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and both sides consent to that venue. Before filing anything, you agree to email us and give us 30 days to work it out — most things are fixable with a conversation.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms as MeOS evolves. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect; continuing to use MeOS after that means you accept them.
